Since its creation in 1996, Castro Electrónica has served the industry and trade in the electronics market in Portugal, with quality and rigor.

A company with 100% Portuguese capital that has established itself with a range of sustainable and competitive products in the electronics area.

Years earlier, the company's founder, Joaquim Ferreira de Castro, started in this market with repairs and sale of small electronic accessories, followed by the sale and assembly of household appliances.
In the 90s, when the market changed, and with the emergence of large supermarkets, the sale of household appliances stagnated among small traders. Anticipating this, Joaquim Castro decides to change strategy and chooses to carry out research in search of business partners, which the supported the creation of what would become the first electronics store in the municipality of Feira and one of the first in Portugal.

This was the beginning of a family company, of enterprising people who from its humble origins made Castro Electrónica the largest point of sale and distribution of electronic products in Portugal.

The turning point was in 2011, with the entry of his son Filipe Castro into the company would change, first with the creation of an online sales system and later with the implementation of new product categories.

We distinguish ourselves by the difference and thoroughness, the dynamism and capability to satisfy your needs. These values helped us to grow quickly but well settled in our values. These values allowed us to grow 1000% in the past 10 years.

Today, we are more than a company, we are a family, a group of 50 people which, together, allow the best of Electronics at the best price.

The year 2017 was a great year for us, a year full of positive factors that have made us even more leaders. With the work comes the recognition and to prove our merit, we were awarded the PME Excellence 2017 diploma and we also obtained the PME Excellence Award More Growth Merit 2017, which distinguishes the five companies with the highest growth in Portugal.
